A friend sent this to me the other day and it piqued my curiosity. I figured I would watch/listen in segments but ended up watching it all at once! What an absolute gem this discussion is! This was a gift I didn't know I needed and I really wanted to share it with all of you as well. If like me, you have ever felt sadness over the loss of past friendships or felt something was wrong with you for not having a best friend, give this a watch! Mel Robbins interviews author of the book, Fighting for our Friendships, The Science and Art of Conflict and Connection in Women's Friendships, Danielle Bayard Jackson. I have not yet read the book but it is on my to read list!

Listening to this short podcast normalized so many of the emotions and beliefs I have had around my own friendship history. It also helped me understand past situations and gave me the framework for future female friendships. Whether or not you choose to read the book, please give this podcast a listen. I know from years of sessions with women, that this will be an excellent resource for women everywhere and I am excited to share it. Enjoy!
