On this episode, I share my experience working with women and exploring the deep-rooted societal conditioning we've all been exposed to—the toxic narrative we’re fed from childhood about finding a partner, having children, and somehow arriving at a promised land of happiness. I discuss how this leads to an overall dissatisfaction and lack of fulfilment in many women, who end up blaming themselves for not being happy, grateful and more positive. In reality, women are exhausted and drained from carrying so much of the mental and physical load alone, even within a partnership. These burdens were designed to be shared amongst a community, but become the responsibility of one, in our individualistic society. Women often feel isolated and inadequate when unable to meet unrealistic narratives and societal expectations. This is a small introduction to the content of my book, that will be published sometime next year!
